Small, Medium, Large!

Travis, Trenton and Julia are all still big fans of the pool every summer. We log a LOT of hours at the YMCA pool. Julia is 9 now and Trenton and Travis are almost 13 and 16. They sat still long enough for me to capture this picture of them together.

Sean is 18!

Sean turned 18 on June 20th! It has been exciting to celebrate with him as he becomes an adult (gulp!). We are all happy that he is stil willing to spend some time with us. This year, for fathers day, Sean did the grilling, so dad could relax! He also spent some time with us on a family vacation to Virginia Beach where we all had a good time together. Having Kate and Sean together with us on vacation was special because we know that at 19 and 18 there many not be too many more times everyones schedule can work together. Sean is growing into a wonderful man, and always manages to keep us all laughing with his humor.

With such an age span between Jonathan and Julia it is wonderful to see how close they are! Jonathan had just turned 14 when Julia joined our family as a wonderful surprise, and it seems their bond was instant and lasting. Jonathan, now 23, was just here for a visit to celebrate Julia's 9th birthday. He skated at her party, swam at Lake Tucker with all of us and then had a great time at dinner where this picture was taken. Its as if age really is meaningless when you share so many happy times together.
